how the govt is trying to sabotage the movement against corruption

From the very moment baba ramdev announced his fast against graft, the govt has been trying all means possible to derail the movement. They already had a plan in place to dupe baba. The plan was to somehow get a written assurance from baba that he would call off his fast by giving baba false assurances. So,when the talks began they pretended to accede to his demands, and asked for a written assurance that baba would call off his fast before a certain date,on the guise that they had to show it to the prime minister.the government said that they would agree to his demands in three days after which baba should call off his fast.To this, baba's close aide acharya bal krishnaji gave a written assurance that they will call off the strike in three days. Then the government called up swamiji's camp saying that they will accede to their demands.after this swami ramdev announced at the ram lila grounds that the government had accepted their demands to cheers from the gathered people. At this very moment kapil sibal was giving shape to his evil plan by calling a press conference and showing the signed letter by acharya balakrishnaji to the media. He alleged that baba ramdev had gone back on his promise of calling of the fast.A certain section of the media started playing to sibal's insinuations against baba and some channels started airing erronous and misleading news that baba had a secret deal with the government and questioned baba's integrity. Some journalists present at the ram lila grounds started asking provoking questions to baba about the letter. To this baba replied that the letter was not voluntarily written from their side, but was only written when the ministers asked for it in the guise that they wanted to show it to the prime minister.A section of the media was also airing this as a betrayal by baba.even if baba had written this letter,it is not betrayal as it was only written as ministers asked for it.The role of a section of the media is also under serious doubt. It seems some of the black money has found its way to the media as well.Remember, all these corrupt people are very powerful. And they will use all means posssible(conspiracies and rumours) to discredit the movement. So, this is the time to stand firmly in support of baba ramdev and focus on the issues he is raising and force the government to accept the demands. We can safely say that this government is the most corrupt in history with its ability to create one scam after another. We can also say with certainity that most of the politicians in this country are corrupt cutting across parties and states.Also.corruption has pervaded the bureaucracy, judiciary, media and many other sections of our system. This is a fight against those corrupt and powerful people. These people are afraid that their ill gotten money will bw taken away from them and they will be unmasked and punished. They will leave no stone unturned to discredit and derail the movement. It is our responsibility and duty to stand united in this fight against corruption and take this movement forward until all demands are met and all culprits are brought to book and punished. So, i appeal to all my fellow citizens to stand united and not fall for the booby traps being laid by the corrupt people. We have watched enough patriotic movies and talked enough about corruption, but this is the time to show our patriotism and walk the talk.jai ho india.

digvijay singh is trying to derail the movement

WHY WE SHOULD NOT BELEIVE DIGVIJAY SINGH

In 2001, during an income tax raid on a liqour manufacturer in Bhopal, income tax authorities seized a diary maintained by the distillery's owners. They found the names of several officials and politicians of the state and their bribe money written against their names in the diary which reportedly also listed DIGVIJAY SINGH'S name with a payment of 100 million rupees against it. Digvijay Singh was the chief minister at the time.[2]

In 2001, he appointed A.N.Singh as the Director-General of the State Police (DGP). A.N.Singh's name appeared prominently in the tell-tale diaries seized in a raid by the income tax authorities some months ago. When those diaries first made headlines, Singh was the state's additional DGP (Intelligence).

In 2004, the Madhya Pradesh Lok Ayukta registered an FIR in connection with a land scam in Indore under the Prevention of Corruption Act to probe allegations of criminal conspiracy and corruption against Digvijay Singh, and four others.

On 12 February 2009, a case of cheating and corruption was filed against Digvijay Singh, a former state minister Choudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi and ten others by the Madhya Pradesh state Economic Offences Wing under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act for alleged irregularities in construction of the Treasure Island Mall in Indore. On 20 April 2011, the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court directed the Economic Offences Wing of Madhya Pradesh state to file a chargesheet against Digvijay Singh and 11 others for these alleged irregularities.
